This one has three or four spacers to get my head in the eye box - noice eye relief on these RT-6 scopes:

Nice setup, I was debating on whether or not I should do a bipod or light. I think a light is more reasonable on a carbine. Anyone know if the inforce wml gen 2 fits? Or have any recommendations on a light that does?

Earlier in the thread someone posted a Streamlight TLR-7... I think t needs to be a compact light or you run out of clearance on the PCC's short rail... unless you want to relieve the stock a bit.

I have a TLR-7 coming from Cabela's tomorrow... I'll post pics if I have time and maybe try to get a TLR-4, TLR-1, X300U, and XC1 on there to see what fits or why it doesn't.

More reasonable if you are gonna use a light, sure. That PCC has a 1-6 scope on it and I will use it on a bench or on the ground... so it has a bipod. having a light on there and having to use a sandbag on my range bag wouldn't help me out.

As far as a bipod on a carbine being weird... how about on a pistol? On a 16" barrel .22 LR? I see bipods on everything. I have one on a 10/22 and one on a .308 bolt gun... but not on any of my four semi-auto .308's. Do what you want based on how you shoot. I'm not going to get pissed and tell you to do what I do

So what is the overall impression of the Ruger PC Carbine? Good? Bad? Meh? I really want to get one.

I was not knocking the use of a bipod at all, so my apologies if you took it that way. I myself have a bipod on my ruger 10/22

With that being said, I completely agree it is based upon how you intend to use the PC (which applies to all guns). Carbines in general have the advantage of being easy to handle and move around with, which is why I would personally go with a light. Compared to a bipod where it is usually used for bench rest shooting.

Yeah there's not really a formula that'll work for everyone... my SU-16 is 4.5 pounds and it came with a built-in bi-pod. What was Keltec thinking? It is the worst though. This Ruger aiint light.

I do have another one that's shorter with a red dot and handy as hell.

Now if someone said "A 9mm with a bi-pod??" then we'd be talking.

If I shoot this one a bunch and don't like r don't use the bipod on it problem solved, it'll get a rds and bipod+spacers removed.

I got my TLR-7... AWESOME LIGHT. Streamlight finally made one that fits. I have others that don't.

Not even going to move this from my G30S (kitchen gun)... that's where it is needed and where it fits.

                  Very Nice!

I have two TLR-1S's with 300 lumens and Strobe and am very happy with the light output and build quality. I'm definitely going to put that TLR-7 on a PC when I finally get one.

Yeah Streamlight needed a win IMHO. The Surefire XC1 doesn't quite fit the 30S, but this Streamlight does, and it is 500 lumen... no huge gap between trigger guard and light like all my other Streamlights... feather light, etc... looks great.

I have the TLR-1 HL and it is meh.

                    My Favorite Streamlight so far.

Randomly came across this UTG sling pack. Comes in two sizes 30" and 34". 30" looks like it would have more than enough room to store a PC and is only $50

This looks cool too but I'm not sure if the interior has two compartments for the pieces of PCC... does say it has a muzzle cup like the Vertx I got.

Looks the 5.11 is a good size but missing some features if you are taking it down.

People shopping cases don't forget about the Skinner's... they are a great option IMHO... only $59 / $65 or so shipped.

22" version will cover most PCC.

Also check out the Olight PL-Mini Valkyrie. It fits everything. It's TINY and 400 lumens. Nifty magnetic charger too.
