    Best maglock for PTR-91?

    As titled, I need a maglock for a PTR-91.

Gun I'm looking to get already has a paddle-style mag release installed by the owner.

What's the best mag-lock option for a PTR and is it easy to install given the gun already has a paddle mag release?

    Thanks!!!

I only know about the Raddlock, but you will have to remove the paddle release. Raddlock works great just be careful when filing to fit.

Also, where's the best place to get one of these commie-required contraptions?

Raddock is your off the shelf option. What some people do is use a washer and file it down enough to fit under the button rendering the mag release useless. You will have to remove the stock and pistol grip/trigger housing to reload the mag. Techincally that fits the form of the law with that technique.

The rifle I'm looking at acquiring has a paddle mag release, not the button most PTRs have.

If in fact you are talking about PTR-91 (.308 Caliber and uses G3 Magazine), then it should have a button release or at least capable of having a button release and lever release.

HK PTR-91 Raddlock will disable the paddle and leave the button functional as a Bullet Button.

If the rifle you are inquiring about does not come with a Button Release at all, then you might have to get a different mag-catch and possibly modifying the receiver a bit to accept a button. (only if you plan on using Raddlock of course)

The raddlock actually removes the sleave that the paddle will use...

Definitely a PTR-91, owner has installed a paddle release in it.

Thanks for your post, now I know where to find one!
