That .458 floorplate seems to be THE "solution" to keeping all your 30-rounders.....of course, they are now "10 round SOCOMS." Brilliant.

I would have to agree. It also proves the complete and total stupidity of these type of laws. It's not to hard to accept when you have morons like this helping to legislate them. She shoves her foot all the way into her mouth at 0:50.

If common sense was so common, why don't liberals possess any?

So when your life depends on it working, your plan is to use untested magazines.

OP noted more than once that he wished to stay legal. What he got was the standard group response from armchair lawyers talking about arrests, "overzealous DAs", and Lord knows what else.

That in spite of anecdotal evidence to the contrary. DOJ estimates 8-10% of "assault" weapons were registered in Y2K. I'm still not seeing the onslaught of arrests expected here now more than 15 years ago.

              Uno mas...

OP and I are in or near Boise, Idaho. If you were to turn in magazines, you'd probably end up a psycho ward.

There is a big difference between being a law abiding citizen. And becoming a subject by conforming to an agenda that is completely opposite of what our Constitution and Bill Of Rights stands for. California has gone completely off the rails legislatively, as well as politically.

They support completely ignoring and violating Federal immigration laws. They allow illegal invaders to drive, by granting them drivers licenses. They then refuse to deport these same illegal invaders after they are caught committing criminal acts. The ignore requests by Federal authorities, (I.C.E), to even detain these illegal invaders. They use state and Federal tax money from legal, law abiding citizens to support all of these illegal activities. They allow and support the banning of free speech from anyone who disagrees with any of there illegal antics. One only has to look at Berkeley for proof of this.

Has ANY California legislator, up to and including the governor, made any statement of opposition, or denounced any of these violent, destructive Berkeley activities? The communist mayor of Oakland California has ordered the police force of that city to stand down during rioting. Instead of arresting these violent rioters and "protesters". Thereby allowing these criminal activities to continue completely unchecked by law enforcement. The result is the San Francisco Bay Area has some of the highest reported number of property crimes, because of this lack of responsible action by it's cities leaders.

And after all of this they openly pass laws on a never ending basis, that either outright strip people of their right to keep and bear arms, by banning guns that are perfectly legal in other states. Or else come up with completely stupid measures that do nothing to increase "individual safety", and make it tougher for any firearms manufacturers to comply with selling weapons in their state. Which is again, nothing more than an infringement on it's citizens Constitutional rights.

Why anyone would live there is beyond me. And why anyone would choose to comply with such absurd "laws", that are every bit as stupid as they are illegal and unconstitutional, is even more mystifying.
