I've never seen one of those handguards before, but with all that stuff on it, it's more porky than lean and mean.

The handguard is made by Precision Reflex Inc. It's carbon fiber, but don't let that fool you, it's still pretty heavy. That rifle is more "Fat and Nasty" than "Lean and Mean" at around 12 pounds as pictured.

I'm more partial to triangle handguards and fixed carry handles. Everything you need and nothing you don't.
