So I don't have all the bling, but I think my rifle is skiny, it does have an SL-K stock and SL HG
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.
CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ QuietComment

Who makes that stock/pistol brace looking thing?
Some very nice looking light weight builds in this thread.
I find myself more aesthetically pleased with the M-LOK system.
Currently have a Aero Precision M-LOK hg and it is very ergonomic and light weight."A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

I just hate gov profile barrels. With a mid length gas system and round handguard I'm a happy man. Don't really care what the rear sight is to be honest as long as it's solid. Have a BCM carry handle on one of my 16" mid lengths and I like it.
All of my latest uppers came from PSA with old school round handguards and I doubt I'll ever switch them to anything else. Got my tactical stuff more than covered, now I'm just collecting/growing the Arsenal for fun.Unless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. I agree, government profile barrels make no sense. They changed to them trying to fix a problem that apparently wasn't the real problem. I'd much rather have a tapered profile of the same weight.I just hate gov profile barrels. With a mid length gas system and round handguard I'm a happy man. Nothing wrong with the lightweight builds. For me, I went classic Colt M-4 with no rails. For my trick gun, went full tank mode and heavy. Went HK MR 556 with the cheese grater quad rail set up. It is heavy and high quality. Even the internal trigger system is FA along with the hammer with the HK 416 parts shared with the MR 556, yet de-tuned and machined for semi auto and 16 inch barrel. These are all factory models. I may have a build or two later with some lowers, but really have no idea what direction I will take them.Last edited by Mopar Guy; 11-18-2016, 11:18 PM.Comment

Ive personally had things come loose on Keymod. A QD sling attachment point. And this wasn't at a class or anything, it was while I was just cleaning the gun during my monthly gun fondling
Haven't tested MLok but based on how things attach to it, it definitely just makes more sense in my head as a more solid platform that won't just have accessories slide 1 centimeter and then fall right out.
But for anything going to see heavy use, I prefer quad rails. Im not an infantry guy gonna be carrying it for 20 miles patrols so I can live with a few more ouncesUnless we keep the barbarian virtues, gaining the civilized ones will be of little avail. Haven't seen a featureless in this so far, so I thought I'd throw mine in.
Faxon pencil barrel, Smithbuilt handguard, Syrac adjustable gas block, no forward assist Aero Precision upper, lightweight BCG, makes for a really light upper, the Thordsen stock isn't super-light, but it sure is comfortable.
Too bad as soon as I got it built, I realized I like heavier rifles better.
