    Help?

Traded for this Upper about a year ago with plans on building it but didn't. There is no markings on it except 5.56 I'm trying to figure out a price I can get for it if I sold it.

The market is so flooded right now with AR parts. Depending with bcg and charging handle or not. With $400ish and without less. PSA has uppers for ~$300-400 and BCM starts at $515. Probably worth it to keep it for a while if you know what I am saying buddy.

Thanks for the info. $400 would work fine with me.

What type of barrel does it have? (chrome lined? twist?)

Unknown manufacturer with a 11" barrel with a pinned 5.5" flash suppressor and fixed carry handle with A1 sights.

Put value at $200-300 with a BCG/charging handle.

There are uppers out there for $270 at reliable sources. I doubt you'd want to sell right now. Just wait till Hillary comes, there's gonna be a panic and you'll be able to unload that for $800 easy. Lol

Another vote here for just hanging onto it, unless you really need the money. Best case scenario if you sell it today is you'll break even, but probably you'll lose some. Worth having around as insurance in case you decide to build a cheap AR in the future, or need to swap out a broken upper on one of your other rifles.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

                Unfortunately, $200 - $250, most likely $200.

What's the deal with the uber-gigantic flash hider? Looks like a 10.5" barrel with like a 5.5" flash hider...

I forget if it was bushmaster who made an 11" upper with the 5 1/2"
                    Flashhider

I never got it as you have the drawback of the 11" gun and muzzle velocity that prevents damage...mane the length of the 16. 1/2" upper...
It is also the old fixed carry handle so optics are a pain...

But as other have chimed in, unknown = $200-$300 with bolt carrier

I would probably pay $200 for it but probably not any more than that, though others might be willing to pay more. If the flash hider pinned/welded? If not, you might fetch more money if you sell out of state, to someone interested in replacing the flash hider with a suppressor.

Looks like a Bushmaster xm177 I'd say the way the market is now and it not being a wanted retro build at the moment 200-250 with a BCG

Could be a delton upper. Retail is more but current market is what others have said, $200-300

If someone is looking for any old complete upper you can find them for cheap, but this specific upper has a certain following, ar15.com. You'll do better

Have you tried looking under the handguard? Sometimes manufacturers stamp are under the handguard.

As mentioned above, I'd hang onto it unless ya really need the cash. I think Retro might be kinda hard to move right now even tho I've been thinking of building one for many years. YMMV

                              Just my $0.02
