I hope to get one of these conversions done next year!

just ordered mine 30 minutes ago....what i like about it is that not only if you go out of state its easy to switch but just incase there is any type of emergency like riots going on in your city; you dont need to worry about taking ur time to switch mags with a bullet button(not that i would ever do this) just saying

We all know what you mean. Believe me. NOW all Radd has to do is devise the same type of "idea" to the AK Lock. THEN, he will be the "Triple Crown" PRK mag-lock king!!!!!!

He means one that has the ability to switch between in-state and out-of-state configurations.

The AK is totally different beast. These rifles are built to different factory spec and majority of time it might be out of spec. That's why the AK Raddlock GEN 3 is oversized to meet the deviation in every build.

However, I am working on a solution that should satisfy this need to reverse to full feature when out of CA. It will be easier than replacing the original mag catch that seem a lot of you are having problem with.

What is the functional difference between this and the B15?

you don't have a screw to lose... there's not THAT much difference functionally (both allow for quick out of state change over). one MAIN difference is that it fits the sig 556 no problem.

Got mine today, and I got to say - Great Job! Very nice piece of work.

I have passed on all other bullet button devices but the design of this was too slick to pass up... Also bought a GenIII AK Radd Lock and after close inspection it is also top notch!

                          Keep it up!

I just bought a bunch of RADD locks from riflegrear. How do I know if the AK is going to be Ver III?

I would say that the big difference is that it does not separate from the rifle in either mode, reducing the number of parts to keep track of.
