Gun Frenzy.... your long gun contribution

The gun frenzy bit me in the wallet. I bought a Henry lever action in 22lr my first Post Obama election gun, but having my finger to the wind I bought two rimfires and two black rifles in .223 pre Obama, plus ammo to feed them, total long guns five for 2008 and I'm still not done yet.

Just started the 10 day wait for a Mossy 590.

EBRs are too expensive right now. I got mine when they were relatively cheap.

Whats the point of going post-election crazy for rim fires and pump action shotguns which arent in danger of being banned?

I was thinking that as well.

I picked up a AR10 lower post election. That wasn't cheap.

Because people are selling them cheap and buying over-priced EBRs out of fear. I bought my EBRs because I like them. Now I'm rounding out the collection on the cheap. I'll buy another AR lower when they get back down around $100.

I have two OLL type rifles, which are enough for me. Unfortunately, I just received my renewed C&R FFL and now have a M39, two 91/30s and a M38 on the way with some ammo also. I have a K98 that I bought a few weeks ago.

I guess you guys didn't get the memo Obama's plan to tax Ammo. Plus rimfires are cheaper to practice with and thats a good thing, with the cost of ammo these days.

I used the fear of a new gun ban as an argument for my wife so I could move up the timetable on my new Marlin hunting rifle. I pick it up Monday!

Memo? I didn't get no stinking memo.

                  More taxes?!?! Obama would never.

                      Spkie's Multi-Cal w/ color

Was doing ANOTHER PPT with my boys @ Bullseye, and couldn't help myself. That Multi-Cal lower from Spikes was too puuurdy, couldn't resist.

I've spent $1600 since the first of the month. Various lowers, rifles, parts kits, and ammo. I'm picking up 4 lowers tomorrow. Just trying to help stimulate the economy.

Not myself (I have plenty of lowers/rifles already) but I did spend the morning with a buddy driving out to Ione (JK Supply) just so he could start the dros on a Spike's Lower. Sigh. My buddy, ..... an educated man .... succumbing to the fear and loathing of our new overlord. Not only did he pick up a Wes special "All your base are belong to us" engraved lower ($215), but he bought all the parts for the entire lower for an additional $240.

Funny. He's wasn't even interested in OLL's before the election

BTW - I'm really kicking myself for not buying a pallet of lowers. An opportunity lost in helping FFL's

Not like we've ever had a Democrat in the White House before. Considering the make up of SCOTUS, we should all be so lucky to have another AW ban. Sooner its tried, the sooner its thrown out forever.

Be more concerned about 'normal' capacity magazines being banned. Or some type of tax on firearms/ammo. That is, if Blue Dog Democrats would even consider such a thing (far unlikely).

If your going to dump funds, have a buddy out of state buy a ton of 'normal' capacity magazines. I still remember 15 round glock mags for $80 during the last AW ban. BTW - Magazines are something not likely to be thrown out via SCOTUS.
