Folks, the way i look at the green tips ammo situation is this. People are free to do whatever they want with their property. Ammo is just like most of products on the market. If the asking price doesn't justify the products' value don't buy them. But.. but .. but i need ammo. No you don't. This is strictly recreational at this point. Has anyone life or family turned up side down because they can't find AFFORDABLE ammo to shoot? I doubt it. So please stop putting this ammo scare on the same scale with a natural disaster because it is not. It's only orange to orange comparison when a major event takes take and we need the means (weapon/ ammo) to protect ourself and our family.
This is also a community. Whether or not you choose to contribute and support it is entirely up to you. Calgunners that choose to sell double/ triple what they paid for in the first place is their right to do so. They see a opportunity to make a quick buck and they take it. i'm not mad at the dude that sold me 50cents/rd when i just saw it for 35cents/rd less than 2 days prior. Its my money and i can do whatever i want with it. If we label those sellers scumbag/douche, etc. then the buyers like me are probably called dumb*****$ for making the purchase. Haha. If i can't no longer afford this hobby i simply spend my money on something else.

Is it not immoral to buy all of a valuable, highly desired resource in order to keep others from buying it, and re sell it for massively inflated prices?
If this were happening with food or water there would be no question what it was. In principle it is the same but because no one is going to die from lack of M855 it's just being profitable eh?
What is a flipper to you?

If a shop owner waits in line at walmart to buy ammo for resale at his shop later that day, Is he a flipper?

Since when has shooting become strictly recreational? Why does it take only a major event to need ammo to protect family and property?

I wont use ammo to protect my family and property unless a major event has occured.

So you'd let the coyote and fox kill your chickens, or the gophers and rabbits eat your garden? Do you live next door to a police station? I've been hearing of quite a few home invasions.

Those are major events, dont eff with my chickens. How many rounds have you expended protecting your chickens? How many rounds have you expended just plinking? Ive never had a problem finding enough ammo to protect my chickens. If I was out of ammo needed to protect my chickens Id buy a box.

If they're doubling the price they'd fit the description. Wouldn't they?

But the flippers took advantage of the major event, bought all the ammo then doubled the price. Now I can't afford it.

I was running low on 5.56 anyways. So I wasted maybe $50-$100 on 1000 rounds, but most of us also waste more than that every month on car insurance that we never use.

Yes, it's smart to stock up before there is a panic, but the problem is we never know what the next panic will be. Maybe there will be a proposed ban on polymer handguns in the future? That doesn't mean we should all run out and stockpile XD pistols while the prices are down...

You cant afford ammo to protect your chickens during the hurricane? Make a sign describing your situation and stand on a corner.

I could until the flippers doubled the price. If they're going to do that I don't think they'll care about a sign. LOL

First of all I am a buyer...not a seller...where did you get the idea that I would sell you anything???
Second, I could care less what you think of me.
Third, look out for yourself, why is it my job to make sure you are looked after...that is not in my job description

I buy ammo to stack for later use in my firearms, not to sell.
I have a real business which allows me to buy what I want when I want it, I have no need or desire to flip ammo to panicked buyers for chump change.
