I bet alot of people here would say that this 20mm Vulcan round would just "rip right through you" and that the magical fragmenting powers of the 5.56 would be much more effective.

I assume a 20mm would be CA legal, right?

Deplete uranium doesn't fragment nearly as well as jacketed 5.56 rounds. It's the main reason our military doesn't switch over to the 20mm for urban combat.........

It might make a decent "deer" gun if your going for complete vapor. It would only make a good "dear" gun if you have divorce and a murder charge tags... Good luck to ya!

The diameter of the 20mm would tear a very big hole without expanding. If it hit bone, the bone would break. Not in the same league when it comes to effective range.

All joking aside, what is the real world application for that weapon? If I had to hazard a guess I'd say anti- vehicle?

An AR in 458 socom or Beowulf will do fine for light anti-vehicular duty.

This device is for taking out light armored vehicles, emplacements in defilade, walls, homes, etc.

That looks like a lot of fun. However I think my wallet would cringe every time the trigger is pulled.
