If all you want is a go bang budget upper, you can't beat it. I have a Black Hole Weaponry barrel coming Wednesday. I thought I got a deal for $225 shipped. I am trying to get my son to buy something like this to get on the AR band wagon.

That's certainly a good deal. I would wait till this weekend for holiday sales.

Rarely the PTAC upper is on sale at 189.99 but these Freedom uppers (there's been a variety of them on sale) for 199 that have been offered recently are probably a better overall value/quality.

That's a good deal for a range rifle. Non-chrome-lined barrels are supposed to be more accurate. Plenty of well regarded rifles have non chrome-lined barrels.

Same here!! this will be my second upper from PSA. I can't see anything but an A2 stock and a carry handle for this upper.

PSA has been nothing but good quality for me. I haven't had an issue with any of the uppers I have bought from them. The PTAC is g2g also. the finish and the finer points are not as nice but I did get the accuracy I expected for a low budget upper.

I'm going to do irons and featureless. I do like the look of the carry handle dissys too though.

Ar15 are great. Just don't buy their AR10. Major issues with the uppers. I know from experience

PSA is about as inexpensive as it gets. There are cheaper made ARs on the market.

They run fine for your average user. I've had two of them and a few of my friends have them as well. Feed steel case and brass fine. Never had a jam with mine or with any of theirs.

for just a barreled upper? If so, where?
