Road to Savoy, shoot on the western side of the road.

Wide open, nothing for miles and no one to bother you.
It is a legal area with no restrictions.
I was stationed there along with the rest of the desert warriors and was lucky enough to be able to drive home most weekends. Ahhh, I've got a soft spot in my heart for good old 29 stumps.

This is my road, not a county road or whatever, so I have my own street name that I blocked from ya's you just don't need that info for any reason I can think of.

My house is down there on the right and my shop is behind it.
The shop measures 240' long, 56' wide, and 24' tall.
That should give you a idea of the area size here.

I can sit on my front porch with a beer and rifle and shoot right at 460 yards straight across the field.
I can shoot to the right up to about 1200 yards.
And to the left where this view is from I can get just a tad over 2300 yards.
This awesome and definitely living the dream. If all goes as planned, I should be living a similar dream in about 18 months
The even bigger, dirtier dream is to own a 1,000 yard range, with a full service gun store, reloading store, gunsmithing, and sell my own reloads off of Dillons with fresh blue paint....a man can dream right? That's at least a couple decades down the road for me though.

I think you guys might understand how I can actually feel free.
No one person to bother me unless I invite them to.

            Beautiful!

I too dream of a place like that.

Alas, it probably won't be that big, or nice. But eventually I will have an out of the way homestead in the country. Especially if property values keep going up here in SCC.
            Sorry, not sorry.
