You're not understanding the question that I answered...
When you hand load "long ammo" (seating a heavier bullet to a longer OAL to maximize case capacity) the rounds will no longer fit into a magazine since the bullet sticks out too far. This is why they make single-shot sleds for magazine-fed bolt guns. It allows the shooter to fire ammo that's too long to otherwise fit into the rifle's magazine.
So, unless you are shooting hand loads using heavy bullets seated to a longer OAL than store-bought .223 or 5.56, you wouldn't need to use a sled..Comment
