And I can PROVE that if some firearms (1911’s, S&W revolvers, GSR’s, Glocks, and a few other types) are left alone for a short time in the armory, they actually reproduce. It’s some type of disease, and it has to do with the thinning of the walletus-cashless-collectus muscle.

That inspires me to make a beautiful southwest style of display, with some of that fabric as a backdrop.

I couldn't agree more. I wonder what Turnbull can do with the 92 short rifle

We're going to find out early next year. Sara Turnbull told me it's a 6 month turnaround time. I sent the gun yesterday. The question is do I include the lever in the CCH

golfish, JMO, Blue the lever, loading gate, and trigger, CCH receiver and hammer, otherwise it gets too "busy", and detracts from the receiver.

Thanks Trapp, I think your right. I didn't include the lever or the side gate, didn't think about the hammer. So far just the receiver, forend cap and butt plate will get CCH.

Put some Color Case Hardened on the receiver, forend cap and butt stock plate. Would you color the lever too? What else?

The wood is a nice walnut and you don't like the redish colored wood that we see on some of the "restored" guns we see these days..

What would you do if you were to fix up a new Winchester the way you wanted.

Send it to Turnbull and get C engraving

Will the action really take 65,000 PSI? I know it'll take 40K, but 65K?

The 92 action is a shortened and narrower action based on the 1886 which was designed for the 45-70 and longer cartridges. It is a very strong action.

I have a Rossi 92 in 454 Casull, no issues with strength.

She told me 6 months so I'm hoping 12? I'll have a little time to change the work order if I come up with something else and get the Standard Manufacturing SAA that I've been wanting so much.

I wouldn’t put the money into modifying but instead just get the deluxe model.

The cost is only bit more but walnut is much sexier, however, I think the rest is the same.

The takedowns are very cool but the current trapper ones don’t make sense since the barrel is shorter than the butt end.

The length of the barrel half should match the length of the buttstock half.
