how long is DROS taking right now? I'm in 11 days so far, heard they're catching up. Anybody else waiting?

It didn't seem to as of last month. I knew of four, completely different types of firearms (including mine) and they varied... 12, 14 (mine), 16, and 14. The longest one I personally know of took 21 days; but, there are posts in these threads claiming longer.Comment

Was in Turners yesterday, and they told me to expect at least 12 days.CRPA and NRA member.

I was talking with a friend in Reno who happened to drop into Cabelas a few days ago. He said there's been a huge run on guns and there is no ammunition on the shelves. All of the used guns have been pulled from the racks, apparently because the store manager was concerned people would simply walk off with them.
I suspect DOJ has been overrun with DROS applications and that's a big reason for the delay in processing.Comment

11 days last week.
The real piss off was that the shop would only call me if it was denied. Did not call for pending, and they wouldn't answer the phone to check. "Just come down, it should be ready". Yea, 20+ miles and 40 min. waiting to get in.
So, to do it again, I would wait 15? days if you can't verify, unless the shop was super easy.Comment

Guys, CRPA is fighting CADOJ over these wait times longer than the mandated 10 days.
CRPA is collecting our stories for use in this effort.
Go to the CRPA website and send an e-mail to them outlining your issue(s)
I hope you all who are trapped in this BS will be able to get your firearms soon.
