The Confederate Air Force just flew directly over LAX and since we're about one mile north of das flugplatz, we got to first HEAR the great sound of air-cooled, four-stroke radial engines in the form of a few T-6s but to my surprise! about 7 or 8 DC-3! followed by a lone P-51 with it's distinct V12 blatting across the sky.
