    Excellent!

I need to tinker with my old JM 1894c. It shoots accurate as heck, but it has a feed problem. I had too much other stuff to do that day and set it aside and haven't touched it since. I don't know if it was bullet profile or the classic Marlin jam. I've also got a JM 1894 in 44 Mag that seems to pop rounds out of the magazine that needs fixin' too.

Bobgba, if'n you weren't so far away, I'd meet ya at the range with a crapload of 38 to shoot up!

Glad mine worked as I haven't acquired the correct screwdrivers for disassembly. Need to work on that today.

I haven't shot 38 since I was a teen, and that was only once or twice through a friends old handgun.
I had never shot it in a long gun. I was somewhat surprised at the lack of recoil shooting 38 and 38 +P.
Shooting up a crapload of 38 sound like a good day.
Shooting up a crapload of your 38 sounds like an excellent day.

A .38 Spl in a rifle is almost like shooting .22 Magnum. Think of it as the "reloadable .22", and when we had a problem getting .22LR, I treated it as such.

Do you also happen to handload your own ammo, perchance?

That's pretty much what I was thinking.
Don't load yet, but I'm trying to figure out which reloading rabbit hole I want to go down.

Thanks, it was too much fun. Now I'm looking for more levers...

Hey Bob, you know, I don't recall reading a range report on your new Marlin.
How did she shoot? 38sp and 357 work okay?
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
