Thanks, Sully. She hopes to be back to work in August if not sooner. Thing is, the school terminated the pre-school staff so my wife has to reapply. Another thing is, she may wind up being PreSchool Director. More dough, a lot more responsibility.

Hey, do0ds! I want to do another Phillip's run, and, Deuce! I'd like to stop by your gun store for another 500 of those grey, coated 200 grain .44 lead rnfp. Just loaded a bunch for my Winchester 92 in .44 Mag brass, but subsonic. Looking to get 1050-ish fps from either 5.0, 5.5 or 6.0 grains Bullseye.

That's the Miroku/Browning/Win '92 in .44 Mag with the steel buttplate...

Bought 2400, Unique and Titegroup. Very interesting that Rick has kept the prices the same in the pandemic. Makes a large statement of the kind of gunner he is.

Now off to reload some 357 magnum for my Marlin 1894C.

Hey! So I have some 180 grain .357 XTPs, and I'm thinkin' a neat rifle load would be (according to Hornady's Handbook of Cartridge Reloading, 9th Edition) 12.0 grains Alliant 2400 for 1400 fps from the Rossi's 16" or perhaps 1425-ish from the Marlin's 18.5" bbls. I can get 1450+ if I load some Max charge weights... but that would necessitate a work-up.

I got there about 3pm today, big crash on the freeway at Campus, car flipped over. I couldn't understand why this lady was backing up on the on ramp (still stupid)

You live in a great area, Hunter. Have spent many hours with the boys off-road in the Bell Mountain area off Stoddard Wells Rd. Do they still shoot off of Hodge?

Yes, they still shoot there, but the area is pretty trashed. I avoid it on weekends. You can drive further in on Hodge Road and find some spots, or come in off Route 66 rather than the 15. I tell people to take extra trash bags out with them and do at least a little clean up.

I belong to the Apple Valley Gun Club and enjoy their ranges during the week. Being retired, it was nice before the virus. Now with more people out of work, the range is busier during the week. All club matches and events have been cancelled. They have several pistol bays with covered benches so it is common to get one to yourself. You can't shoot pistol caliber carbines on the pistol ranges there, though...that sucks IMHO. The rifle range has a covered building with about 10 benches.

The plug was broken up pretty good. Its behind the bed so its hasn't been seen for a few years. The insulation was gone or black, I couldn't tell the difference between white or black.

Yeah, I usually ride over there. I have to put the bike on the lift and replace the tail/brake/license plate light and check all the nuts and bolts. I've got stuff with red loctite falling off
