          Generally, not stiff enough bristles...

          I use them wrapped in a patch that is soaked with Kroil and smeared with JB to remove hard carbon near the throat.

          In my experience the hand lapped barrels from Brux have never coppered up after the first 3-4 firings.

          I use Boretech C4 Carbon Remover only. It just works.

            Nylon brushes don't remove the fouling they just glide across the top of it.
            Alot of the brass/bronze brushes aren't much better. Jim Borden sells the best 30 caliber brushes because he has them made to his specs.
