Ya, I used to say the same thing.

Now, when I leave CA, the first thing I'll be doing is taking my featureless M16 and putting on an FSC556, and replacing the MMG with a proper grip.

Believe it or not a bullet button does not bother me at all. I
have to learned to cope with it and that's how it will stay until I rid of gun.

What the hell is the point of that? Would you like bbs on your handguns too? I don't get it.
Welcome to OT, where hypocrisy is King, outrage is Queen and the Kingdom is on the shores of the Denial River.

            I sold all mine.

I already didn't like the bullet button and featureless to me was just way to screwed up. A screwed up $1,000 rifle, no thanks! And the thought of registering, even bigger no thanks!!!

I'm hopping Trump wins and that we get a supreme court justice who will uphold the constitution and 2a. California gun laws have gone way too far!

Long guns including AR's amount to extremely small % of deaths in USA. Its so out of proportion that its stunning that so much energy is going into banning AR's/AK's.

I believe it has more to due with dissarming us. Hillary wants your guns people! Don't add yourself to their list of houses to go to when its time to confiscate!

No, my AR15 and MP10 are already featureless.

If we register an AR, doesn't that allow us to go full-featured (at least what is still legal in CA) and remove the bullet button? Seems like the sensible thing to do since there should be ample opportunity to buy another AR in the future in a different state.

For those moving out of CA in 2017, why not register with the CA DOJ so you can have them if you ever come back. Once you are gone, it would seem that the registration with the CA DOJ would be irrelevant.

The point is it doesn't bother me to operate it and I'll never use it for a SHTF scenario anyway. Why does that bother you, I just don't get it . What bothers me more than a bullet button is people who mow their lawns in a diagonal direction.

The worry of getting stopped with it in either featureless or BB2 configuration and having LEO not know if it's legal or not being not registered as an AW.

Not sure, (for myself) if it's worth the hassle/risk...

Am I alone in this thinking?
Those same thoughts have crossed my mind as well, I too am sick and tired of the BS as well. Getting rid of the AR's is what the harassment legislation is all about, they want you to get rid of them. Don't let them do it, " be as shrewd as a snake and as innocent as a dove." as our Lord said.
Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
