Having been a victim of the first assault weapon ban, I strongly urge you to keep a couple of ARs for future use. It's better to have a few on the books than to be without a gun you might want in the future.

For anyone wanting to dispose of their evil AR15's or AK47's, I will gladly take them off your hands and bring them to AZ

When you get rid of all those EBR's , they will come for your "sniper" bolt action rifle next...then those fast shootn' lever action..then... then...
I think you should keep em'.... better yet buy more...

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Yeah, it's a no brainer...gotta keep an AR in use, or you may get shut out totally in CA.Comment

If it comes down to you having an AR/AK only because you won't be able to have one later and due to your legal fears said rifle rots away unused in you closet - then sell it now, and find something you will actually take out and train with, or even better, introduce new shooters to. Many good firearms are available to defend oneself and legal implications are as important as performance and function (whether or not you agree with the laws).Last edited by plumbum; 10-21-2016, 7:08 PM.Originally posted by ysr_racerPlease don't bring logic and reason into an interwebs discussion

I've skipped ARs and AKs for this specific reason.RIP Louis Awerbuck. I miss you and your training.Comment

Safe? Maybe not. DeLeon introduced a bill this year that made "ALL" semi autos with detachable mags AW's. It died early, but I am sure it will be back again, maybe when Newsom is in.Comment

I have a lot of AR's. I very rarely use them with loaded mags, mostly shooting prone single shot. It's the best rifle ever made. Better to register and keep them. Maybe one day we will need them.
However, I can shoot a bolt rifle as fast accurately as an AR in rapid fire so what's the real trade off?
I guess they could try to confiscate our guns. That's the end game. However I'll move the guns to Oregon with my kids if need be.I love America for the rights and freedoms we used to have.Comment

No. Hell No.
Screw this state, to think you are even considering selling off what they don't want you to have only proves its people like you that make these laws stick.
Add the idiots on these forums who will fully turn each other in for these offenses that LEO's really don't care about and we have exactly why this state blows for gun owners.
Its as if the rest of the country all know their rights, and expect them, and California is made up of kids who just joined the party and don't know any better.
So NO. My semi auto guns won't be made featureless, and won't be registered either. But I must add I will be out of the state before the deadline.
Eventually when all your gun rights are gone, and all the people pulling the cart have left, those of you unarmed riders will realize that this state has failed.Comment
