No need to guess. Hodgdon reload site lists Win 30-30 at a overall case length of 2.550". Go measure what you have.

Also, you really confused things by showing 30-06 ammo. You should have only shown the 30-30 ammo.

Anyway, go measure your ammo, report back the result.

LOL. That is maximum length for all guns. It is not wrong or unsafe to go longer depending on the actual bullet profile and the exact chamber and throat one is loading for. Many "factory" rounds are going to be well under published COAL.

Just sell them, with a VERY CLEAR disclaimer that they are NOT to be fired, but only to be torn down for components. Some cheapskate like me will give a couple bucks for the brass and bullets to reuse.

Ok, here are actual pictures. As you can see, Box and brass are marked 30-30, but if you look at the bullet(projectile) you can see how much longer and less blunt it is than the Federal 30-30.

I'm sure I can find something fun to do with the powder. If these laws pass, I'm going to need to learn how to start reloading so I'll probably save the brass for now.

Not to trust that box but I've loaded the first round as a spitzer before. You just hope that deer goes down with the first round unless it's close.

from being resized in a reloading die set. streaks on the outside of the case.

Not really. Some scuffs here and there on some, not on others, but no real obvious uniform streaking as if they all went through the same machine process.

Yes, if I had 10 of them. Single loading 280 of them, though, would get old real quick.

Yours, are as you originally surmised "reloaded cartridges" using bullets not suitable for use in a tube fed rifle.

Since you do not know the origin of these reloads. Common sense, and documented bad things happening in the past. Make NOT shooting them a prudent choice.
