    What he said

I just leave my stainless stuff as-is...raw, baby!!
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

Lynn, Nathan (my understanding is that Nathan and Ross work together) makes brakes without top holes. That's one of his (on the left) on my .338 LMAI barrel.

      That's good to know.
It's been a number of years since I talked to Ross about those top holes.

It's nice to get a brake that looks clean with your barrel, but with big barrels, you usually want the biggest brake. Also, the parkerized brakes are nice because it is often shocking how gummed up brakes get if you do not clean them. I opt for brakes bigger than the barrel. Here are 338-510 barrels and brakes.

If the cartridge is .308 or smaller, I prefer a more passive break to combat muzzle jump. The ones pictured are all boomers.

So if you bead and blast, what type of paint is recommended and will it travel well to that paint stage bagged a day or week later?
And is there some type of skin that can go on a barrel to seal it that's effective and more than cosmetic?

Now there's a break whore. Looking good JMP.
There's the quiver or barrels I've heard about.
