weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

OP, use a plumb line to check your cross hairs.
Canted reticule will drive you nuts when you stretch out, or shoot a box test.

Btw I bought a ton of stuff to setup my rifle.
Anyone in the Bay wants to use a wheeler bore sight, Tipton vise, wheeler torque wrench, etc pm me.
It's sitting here idle until something goes wrong with my setup.

        Milotrain and Diver
Ding ding ding we have a winner!!!
Every time I look through one of my father's scopes it looks like an airplane in a banked turn.
Every time we hold a match and other shooters look through my scopes the first thing they say is your scope is on crooked.
You want it the same shot to shot.
If that means perfectly trued up for your style of shooting the gun make it so.
If that means a slight cant to others but straight for you do it that way.
Nobody has mentioned bedding a scope in the rings but it is the only way to get a stress free hold on the scope tube as most are not as straight as you would think.

I was thinking that same thing, like a water trough for live stock right there.

My real thought was why not just route it from the closer roof side? Slow the velocity? That shouldn't matter if it all goes into trough eventually. Must be to capitalize on those prevailing winds.... LOL.

              It's definitely a little off-base.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

                            Yes it's missed the mark.

Also, I can shoot fine without having a bubble level on my scope when I am shooting. Some people love those things.
