considering the price for .416 Barrett ammo I am not going to be shooting this 40-60 times in one sitting. Just one of those "check this out" type of rifles. I will probably end up selling it at the end of this year anyway. I'm currently building a Remy 700 308 win on a tac-21 chassis to see how far I can push its limits. After that I will prob go with 338LM.

I'm assuming that you're buying it to use as a precision rifle. If so, you're going to want to reload just to get better ammo than you can buy. So, $2-3/round for 40-60 rounds doesn't cost anymore than they guy who goes out and shoots a few hundred rounds of commercially made crappy ammo in a smaller cartridge.

Just a thought. Is anyone interested in the upper? Maybe do your own spade grip conversion. It fits on a 308 lower, not ar15. Figured i'd ask before I ship it out tomorrow. Cost will be retail minus shipping which is $1700. Saves shipping cost and wait time

And I wont use this upper as a precision rifle. Mainly for a range gun that others can use. Not everyone gets the chance to fire a bigger caliber than 308.

Well I just got an email confirmation. They realized they messed up and have a return shipping label sent out to me. They are also "expediting" the correct upper. I'm not mad at them anymore.

Lol. I've had their .50 BMG on an AR15 lower before. Plenty fun to shoot. Shoulder still attached.

It's just a little .416B which is about the same size as a 50 spotter.
