I am curious how he is getting to 55" in OAL with such a small 26" barrel? It would seem that the butt stock would need a giant extension to the point it would be hard to shoulder the gun unless you are over 7' tall.

Yo' spyder, I know you are 7' tall, but was my post offensive? I see that retired edited it, but it says the same thing I had said (or thought so). Did I mess up the wording? I just know that my longest rifle is only 53" and has a much longer barrel.

That's kind of cold. Many Savage owners love their rifles. Plus, he's including glass. Some of the new Nightforces these days MSRP for over $3k.
