Parkerizing sounds like a great idea. I'll look into that.

I've posted this in another thread, but here's my Colt 1911 from '27. Is actually in pretty good condition, not much of the finish has worn off, but you can tell it was definitely a shooter from where it is worn. Still is dead on balls accurate but I don't take her out much.

Pretty much 90+% of all C&R handguns would qualify...

I always thought S&W didn't start using the four line address until after 1948 on their Military & Police revolvers. Also, it looks like that revolver has a short action. Are you sure its a 1946? What's the serial number?

Seller told me it was '46. I'm no expert and the SCSW isn't too clear on it. SN is C 107xx.

Here's a letter from THE S&W historian, Roy Jinks.

                    Serial C1 started in 1948.

Who makes that grip for the 17 I use decal grips in sand for my glocks but that wrap around makes it seem even better.

That is a Mossberg .22 rifle, though I don't know the model.

Those are TruGrips. They are two piece, one for the front & sides and one for the rear. I prefer not to put on the rear piece.
