I just added a Hogue grip to it since the medium grip was not big enough. Controlled rapid fire was not crazy like the Glock.
    but the high bore axis.

    /sarcasm

I find even on my carry in 40 muzzle flip doesn't seem to be an issue. I don't notice a difference from my full size in 9mm.

Looking for a P320 9mm fullsize with plans of adding the 357sig or 45 subcompact conversion when it becomes available.
Availability of the P320, along with the outrageous markup... is frustrating.

What I'm aiming for is a fullsize 9mm DA/SA or Striker for the house, easier recoil management for my wife. Then either a 45 or 357 subcompact for the glorious day thay san diego /ca gets CCW. Already have a Colt Defender and XDs45.

Slightly considering a XD9 fullsize and maybe a G29 or G33, which would probably come out to about the same price.
I currently have a Xds45 and XD9sc, so I'm comfortable with that line. I "dislike" glocks for the same reason I dislike Chevys and Dodges... becauss I'm a SIG guy and a Ford guy.

What do you guys think? Is the P320 worth the wait and markup?
Or is having 2 separate guns with 2 different purposes worth sacrificing my fanboyism and SIG snobism?

Wait for what you want homey. Just like I would wait for Christy Brinkley and not take out the Mulrooney Triplets.

        about a week late.

if i do find a line on a normally priced p320 i would make it happen... sell an XD or something easily replaceable...

i do wish i could get the crisp trigger of a p320... but overall i'm super happy to have 2 new tools that were relatively i expensive. I baby most of my guns (exterior wise, i shoot them all), so these will be fun additions.

I love my P320 so much that I use it as my go to gun now after using glocks for 10 years.

                Sounds like you need glocks.

I've tried some glocks and held others. I didn't shoot them well and I find the ergos and trigger crappy. Plus even with a glock if you scratch the frame it's there forever.

Picked up a 320 full size in 9mm last year for $589. I didnt understand why people were SSEing gen 4 glocks or XDs when this was available. Once it starts getting out on the competition circuit and all the kits are more available, everyone will want one. The trigger is pretty much perfect for a striker fired gun. Probably the smartest buy of SSE era, besides a 9mm 1911.

Good luck trying to find one. Everyone I know that has one loves it and is keeping. I think most of the speculators went for the VP9 and ignored the 320. I could see PPT prices quadruple MSRP in a few years.

I looked at the P320 when I was doing my last SSE's. I did not like the way it felt in my hand, and did not really like the trigger either. The modularity is cool though if you like the gun.

It's a great range and self-defense gun, but serious competitors probably won't run it unless they are sponsored by Sig. The high bore axis and close-to-perpendicular grip angle increased the recoil rotational impulse relative to some other choices.

But that issue is definitely not a deal breaker for casual or SD use. I'm eager to feel the ergos of the sub-compact frame (preferably in .45) for LTC use.

Check out Grayguns and Bruce gray when you talk about the p320. They put a whole year of r&d into this gun and recently listed their action work package for it. I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy but am a fan of the gun. I'm not going to sway someone to only a p320 but think it is a great gun. It seems Grayguns have put out their action worked p320 to probably privileged people and they seem to rave about the gun.

Grayguns is making quite the statement about the P320:

To that end, the Grayguns Crew has been involved in an intense R&D program to make the P320 the most competitive production-division pistol you can buy for any price.
