As much as I dislike the looks, the grip, and the trigger of the Glock, I usually find myself shooting them more accurately than the other Tupperware guns on the market.

    This distresses me greatly ...

I bought a glock before (had to have at least 1) I hated it and sold it. Somehow I drosed another glock a few days ago. Lols

I'm in the same boat. I have always disliked the feel of them in my hands, I hate the grip angle, and the general MEH feeling I get when shooting them.

However, I shoot mine really well (G27 and G30S) and they ALWAYS go bang. For these reasons, two Glocks fill my 3 CCW roster spots even though I have a stable of other guns that I actually love to shoot.

I feel your pain. Unfortunately I just gave in and I have 7 of those ugly things now.

as many have said. I didn't like the Glock compared to insert pistol here ( for me, it was my sigs and M&P's,) but I just shoot glocks better. I no longer own Sigs or M&P's... was lucky enough to figure myself out and SSE 2 glock gen4's (17, and 21,) before the opportunity escaped me. The gen 3 G19/23 fit so well, I didn't bother with the gen 4 on that one.

Nah, I need stuff for when I tire of shooting my sweet shooting CZ 75's, CZ75 clones, or 1911's. Right now they are being used for loaners when taking noobs out to the range or for when somebody needs a complete competition rig. Unfortunately I have a mountain of preban mags to use for them as well.

Wasn't really a fan of Glocks and never had any intentions of buying one until I joined calguns lol
Polymer frame and internal hammer kept me away as I kept comparing it to my P220R.. but I think I appreciate them for what they are now.
My father has a bunch of glocks and they are always accurate.
If I could do another SSE I think it would have been a Gen 4.
Maybe I'll buy one used next year..

The Glock grouped very nicely for me and it just, for whatever reason, shot better than my M&P. I think I will end up getting one in the spring.
I have the exact same experience with glock vs M&P. However I think if I changed the M&P trigger to an apex it might shoot better than a glock.

Did this glock have any work done to it? Springs changed? Aftermarket sights? Just a couple cheap mods and glocks will shoot very well.

I don't own any glocks myself, but I probably should.

I did exact same thing. I would love to shoot Glocks well, but bottom line is, forgetting my 1911's, in 9mm I shoot my 2 Beretta 92fs just much better. I bought a Glock 17 few yrs ago and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, yes w more practice I would have improved, but why waste money on ammo when I shoot other handguns better.
Just really wish I shot Glocks well cause I don't even mind the blocky look- life would be so simple, but still think everyone should own a Glock 17/19. I have a Glock 30sf that I actually enjoy as a compact handgun that holds 10 rounds of .45- will never sell it. Plan to get a Glock 19 for the girlfriend and hope she doesn't like it.
But overall for .45's, I'll always be a 1911 guy, they just continue to multiply.
