I'm up for a gathering of 938 lovers and thise even mildly enchanted.

I can't do TUESDAY or Wednesday evenings. I'd prefer not to set foot in on target on a weekend as its a mad house. What about a Thursday evening?

Maybe we can do all do the shoot and have a range master (or two) sign off as a witness? Then results can be posted in a new thread titled "p938 challenge" with no monetary exchange, all for fun.

I can't make it on Tuesday or Wednesdays.

A nice shooting contest would be

                      10 shots at 7 yards

                      10 shots at 15 yards

                      10 shots at 25 yards

All timed 10 shots in 60 seconds, two handed (op shoots one handed for fairness to others)

Than do the course again one handed.

Post scores on new thread called P938 On Target shoot off or something.

How about a standard target too? For those of us that can't make the meet...

I shoot this pistol better One-handed.

Shoot the G36 pretty good One-handed as well.

G36/230gr./Five-second/Five-shot group, One-handed, at Ten yards.

I also generally shoot my GLOCK 36 One-handed, as it is also a CCW/SD pistol.

I reckon that this is an invitation to corroborate.

Yes, it was me, and I was pleasantly amazed at how steady BC could hold that 938.

I recall him shooting his 5-shot groups and they were really close.

The rounded rectangle orange zone of the black silhouette easily had the 25 yarders.

He let me try it and I found the trigger to be a little stiff, so I sucked, but crisp and consistent.

All my shooting is one handed (only) and I just can't accurately use a hard trigger pull as it makes my injured arm shake.

My Glock 36 has the ZEV trigger at ~3lbs w/ very little stroke, so I can now shoot it well enough.

The 938 grip is definitely a two finger for me (like my old Officers) and it is even a little too thin for me ... I'm sooo used to my G36.

I don't use Mr. Pinky in any grip - he just makes things worse (Hickok45).

The 147's through the 938 are quite poppy, but not at all nasty, unlike the 185gr Underwood 45Supers I was running through my SW 625JM, SA of course.

I found the 230's to be just perfect, much more than a 357 and some less than a 41.

                            Port

Edit: Looking at these targets (they are the type I was referring to), and knowing that I was not there just to watch BC shoot and I reckon that all-in-the-orange group I mentioned was the 10yd target.

The 25yd target was a little outside of all-in, but still a fine pattern that would be plenty effective.

One handed dry fire feels pretty good, going to have to try that out BC
