I did some digging and realized the HK VP9 was a superior firearm based on specs on paper (steel guide rod vs polymer, robust slide rails). However since everyone is out of stock of the VP9... I went ahead and ordered the PPQ 4" this morning.
I did quite a bit of research... I figured the PPX would be too risky as well as multiple different videos on YouTube show FTE or FTF. Maybe Walther sorted it out? No idea... Don't feel like finding out. What I can say is the PPQ is definitely higher quality than most everything out there.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
