Glock FDE looks a bit like baby poop.. the OD (to me) looks much better..

Not trying to be a "Richard", but Glocks are one of the ugliest, cheapest looking, cheapest feeling pistol on the market. IMHO they have no "soul" just cheap ugly pistols that fan boy's hype up. That's probably why you feel like that about that pistol.

I love it. I've a gen4 g17 in fde. I'd buy a G19 like that if I wasn't already heavily invested in Walther PPQ's. If you just have to get rid of it, put it in the marketplace.

A gun is a tool. I don't pick up a drill because it looks nice and I think it has soul. I pick it up to do a job.

As to the op, I have never felt any excitement over glocks, but if I could pick one gun to rely on it would be a glock.

Several months ago I bought a G34 Gen4 FDE. I felt about the same way. They're not very exciting. It's not a type of gun you pick up and feel excited about holding and looking at.
I felt little more excited about my G19 Gen3 black. My GP100 SS is more pleasing to look at and hold.

I have to admit I felt the same as the op when I got my fde19, I even put a black magwell on it to make myself feel better about it.

But it shoots great and it's the only fde Glock I have. Now I feel completely different about it. I love the look and there's no way I would replace it with a black one.

Thanks guys for all the advice. A lot of you are right I should take it out and shoot it. I think it's the color that bumed me out. I'm so use to seeing these nice Glocks on Instagran that my Glock looks like a pile of poop. First things first I'm going to stipple it, then get it painted. Anyways it is what it is I'll just keep it and shoot the crap out of it, I mean it is a 9mm so ammo should be cheap.
