So the price for these are going to be just under $600 looks like. I like the new sights on them, I only saw these in .40 and 9. XDs has a .45 I believe, but I see those selling for 700+ used. I would rather have the xds. I do hate that it says GRIP ZONE, but I do like it. Things to consider I suppose.Comment

Saw a video on it by Rob Pincus and he said the previous mags would fit. XD-M mags with the groove will not fit.
Also, he mentioned the grip safety needs to be depressed to move the slide - so they went back to the original design rather than stick with the XD-S system where the slide can be moved without depressing the grip safety.Jesus Saves!Comment

Yesterday I called Springfield and asked if the Mod2 slide would fit on an XD? Springfield responded indeed the X2 mod slide would fit on the current XD model.
