Picking up my 938 Scorpion at Gunfighter Tactical this Saturday. Really looking forward to making this my everyday carry gun and my LC9 will drop down to #2 on my carry list. PPQ also in jail will be my last SSE.

Get the xds! It's got a very glock like trigger and is very well made and very accurate.Comment

If you are going to use it for CCW, I would suggest the Shield 9mm. I personally own all four of these and carry the Shield the most. Next choice would be the XDS. It's the 3.3" .45. Great gun!Comment

lots of people find the mini sig hard to shoot accurately fwiwComment

I vote sig, but i just bought one so im bias. Ive handled an xd, and it wasnt bad, but i like metal firearms just a personal thing. All three are sweet, but ya maybe change your line up and get the xds or sig. Have fun!Comment

I voted for the P938 with my own money...twice! Awesome guns. The P938 is more expensive than the others on your list, but it's also smaller, metal framed and feels of much higher quality when you handle it. I've only got a few hundred rounds through mine so I can't really comment on reliability, but I haven't experienced any failures myself. Extremely easy to shoot and accurate given its size.Comment

Recently did the same thing. Went in for a G42. Walked out with a LC9s.
Same size but larger caliberLooking for a 3" Magnum 870 $200-$250ishComment

Of the 3 mentioned I would go with the XDS for a non-CCW weapon. The P938 is really small (my current pocket sized gun for CCW), but can be finicky with ammo it feeds and not super fun/comfortable to shoot for extended range sessions.Comment

Off topic, but worth discussion
I have been on the fence in buying a Walther PPS, myself. I handled the other pistols mentioned and really liked the PPS the best. Thanks to RUDDOG for letting me check out his PPS. I am buying this for CCW, but am also thinking about the case for when a longer shot may be needed and a 3.8" barrel size or larger would give more confidence in a shot that was needed.I don't own or carry anything unless it is 3.8"-5" barrel size. Short barrel pocket pistols or snubbies aren't very effective to begin with, IMHO, so what's the point?
If something happens that you need that pocket pistol
, you really need the full size one. That's my personal rule of thumb.
Maybe I need to start another thread here.
Anyway, sort of on topic. My vote is for the PPS - a write in candidate.Life Member NRAComment

Yep, I got mine, no manual safety, no magazine disconnect, glock like trigger, german quality, changable backstrap. The only flaw of the gun is that if the backstrap is removed you can't pull the trigger; but it was still my top pick. I also think it's kind of ugly like a glock, but it's growing on me.I have been on the fence in buying a Walther PPS, myself. I handled the other pistols mentioned and really liked the PPS the best.
