I was going to suggest the glock 26 because I thought it would be cheaper than the XDS but then I looked at the prices. How is the Glock 26 more expensive than the XDS? Well, I got nothing

Yeah, if it's between the Glock and XDS it's really no contest. XDS all the way.

(I still think the P938 is a cooler gun)

Walther PPS is what I decided on, then the P938 as second place. I didn't like the idea of manual safety on a carry gun, having to have the hammer cocked and safety on is one more thing to deal with if you have to use it. But the P938 felt great in hand and was a bit smaller than the PPS so a really tough decision. I liked the trigger on the PPS better though, not as crisp but not nearly as stiff either.

The P938 felt more solid of the two, can't wait to go shoot them both to see which I really prefer.

is the slide on the p938 as easy to manipulate as the p238?

The store didn't have both of them to compare, my guess would be the P238 would have an easier slide to rack. I told my dad about the P938 scorpion that was in stock and he purchased one, so I'll be sure to head to the range with him when he gets it out of jail. I heard the trigger should smooth out some as well on both pistols.

Too bad the G26 isn't a single stack and can't be put into the same category as the other two guns you listed.

                  Sig gets me vote.

I'm just not a big fan of glocks. I've shot many different ones and none of them seem to feel right. And although I haven't shot a XDs, I didn't care for the XD when I tried it out.

I don't own or carry anything unless it is 3.8"-5" barrel size. Short barrel pocket pistols or snubbies aren't very effective to begin with, IMHO, so what's the point?

If something happens that you need that pocket pistol , you really need the full size one. That's my personal rule of thumb.

                      Get one of THESE.....

Sorry, been waiting to post a picture of it since I got the new grips and trigger on it.
Shoots great. Took it out with my p229 to compare. OBVIOUSLY...the 229 is an absolute tack driver.
Groups on the 938 were a little bigger of course.
The trigger is a little heavy but word is that it will lighten after a few hundred rounds.
The recoil is a bit snappy compared to the 229. Of course, the 229 weighs 32 ounces and the 938 weights 16 ounces.
The slide was very easy to manipulate, mag release was easy to get to, the slide release was easy to manipulate with the shooting hand thumb.
I had to get in the habit of putting the safety ON after emptying EVERY mag, and then putting it OFF before firing. VERY easy to go from safe to fire, but you gotta change your grip to push up on the safety to engage it, or use your not shooting hand.
All in all, I think I'll keep it. Might every get one for the little lady as SHE shot it better than I did. Turns out she gets a much better grip with it than I do with her little hands.

Sig p320 , you can transform it into subcompact , carry, or full. You can transform it from 9mm, 40, 45. Black, fde, od frames.

@safetyy-1st Sig P320 is nice too, but not really looking for a Frankenstein gun unfortunately

@Baboosh yes, that one is nice, but a bit out of my price range atm thanks!

Haha, I wouldn't say overrated. But, I've had a few, so I think I'm leaning towards the XD-s. Sig P938 is nice, but the XD-s just has too much going for me especially for the price/reviews. Thanks all.
