    ruger lc9s?

Hey guys... what do you guys think of the lc9s? How does it compare to the other pocket 9mms out there (size, trigger, ergos)? Does it require SSE?

Yes it does need SSE. It is double action so the trigger sucks but it is a self defense gun not a target shooter.

I just ordered one. I'll post some opinions on it when I get it.
I read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of videos on it and it seems good to go.

Didn't like the first one (LC9) and I think Ruger needs to design a new 9mm carry gun from the ground up. But some people like the LC9S.

NO NO the trigger doesn't suck, it's real sweet, best I ever felt for one OOTB striker fire pistol.

My FFL has one an showed it to me, it was awesome as far as trigger go's.

Fit's in the pocket just like lc9, and same price, but will need SSE and that will add to the cost.

Only down side is just ONE mag comes with it...

Yes I was wondering about the new striker fired version.. Any opinions on it? How's the trigger? How's the trigger pull? Long? Reset?

                Just DROS'ed one today.

(and came here to search about it)

I went into my LGS to check out then Glock 42 & the LCP.

LC9S is essentially the same size as the Glock 42, cheaper, and in my opinion a better trigger. Plus it is 9mm rather than .380

                Win win win.

SSE with a spare mag was right at $500.

This is my problem with supporting Ruger. Especially SSE pistols.

Most other companies have come around and willing to do warranty work and send pistol back to owner as long as a new frame with new serial is not needed.

Example of their customer service (or lack there of):

                      Interesting regarding the warranty questions.

I've dealt with their customer service people in the past, and had a positive experience.

                      I don't imagine that changing.

Was considering the LC9s. Good trigger, but don't like the long reset.

Is the reset as long as the LC9 (DA version)?
