I had the entire CGW kitchen sink installed into my P01 and it was still had a DA/SA of around 7.5/3.5 after a lot of polishing and shooting. To be honest, it probably comes down to the firing pin block and the way the Decocker is designed. If you have ever taken one apart more than once, you will know how much of a PITA the sear cage is.
It was as an awesome shooter, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't anything as nice as the CZ-75 SA, SP01, and the Shadows I have had and modded. Just for reference, I just dropped in several hundred dollars worth of CGW parts into a broken CZ75 SA that I just picked up out of jail, installed the original P01 trigger I had lying around, and ended up with a smooth SA/DA of 6.5/2.5 without any polishing since my dremel died. I ordered a few more parts yesterday to finish it up so I will polish everything at that time.
I miss the P01 but the Set screws on the Short reset trigger was gouging the aluminum frame so I backed them out and sold it.
On a positive note I just sent a Canik Stingray into Jail today, I am sure that is much more along the lines of what I wanted in a Compact CZ. Sigh, must set aside more money for CGW parts.
