    True, but with a SAO trigger adjustable for take-up and overtravel, you can get a pretty nice reset. Plus the flat SA trigger feels much better.

      It certainly can be done cheaper, but throwing in the aftermarket sear and hammer really make the break so much better. Also removing the FPB and the FPB lifter gives it a 2mm break and reset.

        2mm? Wow. I shortened the factory hooks, angled the sear, and slicked up everything and have about 4mm. I wish I could test my pull weight, I'd really like to know how I did.

          There is a ghetto way of doing it. You can tie a string to it and tie it to a bottle then have it hanging off a table then fill the bottle with water till it breaks and then weigh the bottle and water to get the breaking point.

              Or you could quit being a cheap *** and get one of these. It is an invaluable tool.

                Well I pulled off my shadow slides and slapped on the original .40 d lides on my Single Actions. The SA has a really short reset with a sub 2lb pull.
