Hmmmm, I see why you'd be dissapointed......but angry? Or feeling like they "ripped you off"? DISGUSTED?
You're a nightmare customer.
Edit:
Oh and BTW, I bought a TRP 3 weeks ago.....got the promo mags and holder from SA. But I paid for a Sig 938 last night....and they had a free mags and case rebate that ended a couple weeks ago.....sucks..... but I didn't know about it......so I don't get it. Lifes too short to get bent about stuff like this.Last edited by TurboChrisB; 08-27-2014, 3:50 PM. -

It sucks but that's just good ol Murphy dealing you a ****ty hand. I don't think you should be upset with the company over this.Comment

Be happy with the firearm for the reasons you purchased it.
This reminds me of the time my toddlers happy meal was missing the toy........well not exactly, she was actually expecting to get one when we made the purchase.

What's the problem? You said you did extensive research and picked the firearm that best met your needs, not because of some give away. Now you're mad cause they won't include you in the giveaway? I don't get it.
I have a small retail business and I run sales during a certain time period. If I had to make an exception for everyone that felt they were an exception, it'd be a nightmare.Comment

I don't think you're going to get much sympathy here. Life isn't fairWe'll I purchased an XDM 3.8 compact on July 20 prior to the gear up promotion. I spent a considerable amount of time researching different manufactures to purchase the ideal firearm for my needs. When it came down to my decision Springfield came out on top. Was irritated this promotion come out less than two weeks after picking up new XDM. So I contacted Springfield and explained the circumstance and asked if they could consider my purchase under this promotion. Their answer was to send in my receipt and Springfield customer service would decide whether they were going to allow me to partake or not.
So this post is basically a FYI why I'm disgusted that Springfield would deny me from receiving some free swag along with the rest of the people who are purchasing in the allowed dates. I purchased my XDM based on the companies reputation on making the finest quality firearms and it's reliability. Not because I get a bunch off free mags. It's 11 freakin day's. They need to make some exceptions. We'll I know next firearm purchase I need to do a little more research into the customer relations side of these manufactures.

OP you bought the gun for all the reason you listed, great, but now you are disgruntled because you are not getting free stuff for a gun you purchased outside of their defined parameter. Damn man, you are come off like a spoiled brat.Comment

so when every sale starts i should expect all my customers from the week before to return and get whatever discount/promo is now offered ?
not going to happen, now thats not to say if someone came in with a good 'tude i would not comp them in some way, but thats just my customer service side not a requirement and should not be expected ....Originally posted by Ronald ReaganBefore I refuse to take your questions, I have an opening statement.Comment
