This might be similar to another post below, but I'd like to find out how I might best use my remaining SSE's. No interest in selling, just looking for which ones I might be sorry if I don't get one in 2014. For example, I'm not an HK fan boy but I'll likely pick up a VP9. Maybe a non -fugly MK25 too... any ideas?

Getting an HK45 personally.
Possibly a p30 in .40 in Nov or Dec, but will probably get a DDM4v3 instead and be happy with just the hk45Comment

Get a cz then get the hk45

I'd look at PPQ and VP9. They are "hot" right now, especially the VP9.
Even if you don't like it, at least get it in-state now so someone else later can PPT it off you!
My gun budget is done (well, after this last DROS of a PPQ) and I can't think of anything I want.
Don't worry, once SSE is gone, in a year or two some manufacturer will come up with a gun that is completely awesome, like the VP9-2 or M&P SuperDuper or Glock Gen 5 that we also can't have, so we'll have a lots of guns that we can't have, and we'll reminisce about the days when we could buy ruger and S&Ws.==================

Remember to dial 1 before 911.
Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

Benny, I'm in the same boat as you...trying to weigh out what I might want in the future....Can't see the CCW route either since its not happening in this state no matter how much happens on the FED level.
I'm trying to decide if I want a polymer (will be a first), Sig (first), or CZ (first)...in 9mm (first). Or do I go off the beaten path?Comment

If you are a 1911 guy I doubt you will like a striker fired pistol. There are some nice Sigs that are off roster. Personally I don't like CZ, their quality just don't reflect their price now. The money I paid for my Sp01 I expected to at least have the same workmanship as my Glock 17 sadly this isn't the case. CZs were good when they were $350 a pop, not when hey run upwards of $600.Comment

Since you're a HK fan I highly recommend the P30L if you don't have one.Comment

I'm a 1911 fanatic but I love my M&P and think the striker-fire system is the best option for most defensive buyers or newer shooters all-around.If you are a 1911 guy I doubt you will like a striker fired pistol. In terms of what pistols to SSE, I'd look into some of these maybe:
Mk25
Any Sig scorpion series
SA Range Officer
Standard off-listed M&Ps and Ruger semi-autos
Gen4s of all flavors
Yes, I'm thinking for personal ownership but also having liquid assets to sell if the need arose.VMI '11
