Looking at pictures on the internet was kinda "mehhhh"

Getting it in your hand is "yayyyyy"

it's trigger is definitely IMO noticably nicer outta the box than a 75B, while dry-firing at least. There was just no grit at all in the sample i saw.

Can't wait to shoot it.

I'm about to dros one. What CGW mods did you get besides the spring kit?

I dont know if the triggers vary a little bit from gun to gun (well, they probably do), but i couldnt imagine changing a thing on the one i checked out today. This gun is something else.

Mine doesn't have the upgrades a friend has the short reset kit, yellow spring kit, and the oversized DA roller. He's only shot about 500 rounds of ammo through it, but shot some Tula through it also and it ignited every primer. The Russian primers are a good test because of the hard primers.

It has a silky smooth no stacking DA pull and a much better reset over stock. I'll be ordering the same kit as soon as I stop dropping all my free cash on the last few pistols I want.

It really is a great stock trigger. I have heard of some people questioning the same variance possibility as you. The thing is something like a trigger feel is very very subjective. I agree with you though and if that's the case don't ever try a CGW equipped CZ P-07 unless your prepared to drop some coin.

I agree, it is very subjective. If that thing can be improved upon, wowza.

I was looking at it at the same time as Sigs, and it blew them outta the water. Not even close. But yep, that is my subjective opinion .

The way the hammer drops in SA is like poetry, I think it must fart little fairies outta the barrel if it's loaded, or something.

It really looks better in person, not that the pic is bad. I haven't ordered one yet, I'm stuck in a 1-in-30. Who has good prices on it in norcal?

It is the type of gun that everybody would love. Whether you like 1911's, glocks, revolvers, squirt guns... this will appeal to you. The one I got up close and personal with was out of state, at $525, at a place not really known for great prices.

I was super torn on getting a P-07... but ended up getting a Sphinx Alpha and P-09 FDE instead!

IMHO, they are a very underrated, undervalued gun. Out of the box, the best polymer gun on the market. And I've been competing USPSA with Glocks for years and years!

Yeah I would like to check out a p-09 for sure. If it's all the same, but longer, I might even prefer it. So who has the drop on 'em. They must be cheep cheep cheep wholesale.

You should be aware that places are still selling 2 models of the P-07. The easiest way to tell is the older model comes with 16 round mags, a curved trigger, and no front cocking serrations. The 2014 model has 15 round mags, all the trigger/hammer updates, a better finish, and dehoning. It's the better buy IMO at around a $40 dollar increase.
