    Good point. I had some feed issues with my 716 Patrol rifle which did not include CA in its model number. When I called Sig the CSR told me if I return it, they would not send it back. I said I don't think your employer is in the paperweight business. Would you mind checking with your supervisor? He came back to the line and said they'd have it back to me in 2 weeks - which they did.

    Still, I'm a little nervous about sending off-roster stuff back for legitimate service.

      Yah, most people not in CA are pretty ignorant of the laws here. Heck, even some people in CA (FFL dealers too) fall into the same category. Sig needs to do a better job to inform their employees; considering they are in the firearms business there is really no excuse.
