    Competition guns?

What pistol is best for competition in your opinions for single and double actions?

Hey question about the 1911. I have one. I was wondering though. Are you able to buy a 10 round mag?

The most versatile for USPSA is probably the Glock 35. You can shoot it in most divisions (obviously not revolver), though it may not be optimal for Open Division.

.40 cal, makes major power factor.
10 rounders for L-10, or more if you have them for Limited.
Open? I guess you can get optics on it, but it's not super competitive in open against space guns like a Limcat.
Can shoot it in production too if you like.

              .40 cal CZ-75 SP-01
              Runs in L, L-10, production

              9mm Glock 34
Production, L-10 or L with minor scoring, could pay to make it an open gun (maybe not worth it, but you can do it).

Extremely successful in Limited ... STI Edge in .40

Open? Some sort of 2011 (1911 action, double stacked) based race gun, probably in 9mm (major) or .38 super.

Remember to dial 1 before 911.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

Yes, but they may or may not suck in your gun.

I have Chip McCormick 10 round mags, they say "must load rounds to a COAL of 1.260 for reliability) so if you don't reload, they might not work for you. I didn't find them that reliable for me even with rounds loaded to that OAL (Cartridge Over All Length).

There are other 10 round mags, you gotta try them to see if they work with your gun.

The Indian, not the arrow. Just go with what you got. Get good at it then get what's best.

If you have a 1911 already, I'd start with Single Stack Division. If you go open or limited, you're going against 20-30 round grandfathered magazines.

If you go into Open Division, you're going to have to reload

Run what you have right now. I ran a run of a mill M&P9 in production. Now I'm switching over and going to try single stack with a SA Loaded.

I'd like to get a CZ95 TS .40 someday and try out Limited.

Doesn't hurt to have some bad a** arrows tho. Especially if you miss a lot, at least you'll look good doing so
