              Yeah, it's in the SR family. They priced this to compete with the SD9VE.

                I have the sr9,and the sr9c. I cant see any difference from the e. Do you guys ?

                        It's the same as except without the LCI, fewer slide serrations and smaller sight dovetails all to reduce milled and fabrication costs.

                        I used to have the SR9 and SR9c. Sort of chunky and clunky compared to the G19. I tried them and sold them. Someday I'll learn to rent instead of buy to try!

                              on ruger website, it says msrp is $100 cheaper than the sr9. The msrp for sr9 is $529 and the 9e is $429. Just did a search and came across this
