For the record, Glock cannot sell these guns in Cali with magazines that correct the FTF problem because that would be considered a modification of the gun that would trigger the micro stamping and other new requirements that are preventing gun companies from introducing new handguns in California. Don't blame Glock; thank the State.

I can only say that on my Gen 3 G19, with the 2183 followers in all four mags, the last round jammed, with all 4 mags.
I got the 9mm3 followers from Glock, and all of my problems went away.
I think they have slightly different generations of magazines.
My problems are solved, hope yours get solved too!..

Still there no word yet. I did call 2 weeks ago and talked to a new rep. He put me on hold then came back and told me no problem found. At that point I told him that his supervisor Sean Ford replicated the problem twice. At which point he said uh ok. Sounds to me like the run around and their standard answer is no problem found. What a crappy company.Comment

There is another long thread on this at http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ight=G19+stuck but the short story is that Glock is well aware of the issue. They sent me 9mm3 followers no questions asked. Seems they can be hit or miss and some have more success with 9mm6 followers and some slight shaving. If any rep claims they aren't aware of a problem then they are being lazy or incompetent. The 9mm3 followers worked fine in my 2003 G19. I have newer and older mags.Comment

If they have magazines that fix the problem, then they should not have their csr acknowledge no known issues on the phone and as a company own up to it. If it truly is an issue that they have a resolution for, offer replacements for the defective magazines. For the record, Glock cannot sell these guns in Cali with magazines that correct the FTF problem because that would be considered a modification of the gun that would trigger the micro stamping and other new requirements that are preventing gun companies from introducing new handguns in California. Ca laws may be a hurdle, but it's not a road block. Many of us have firearms that do not work out of the box. This needs a true fix, not a bandaidComment

I agree. This is why I will not purchase another Glock. Nor can I, in good conscience, recommend them to anyone else. They really need to get their act together. If they have magazines that fix the problem, then they should not have their csr acknowledge no known issues on the phone and as a company own up to it. what I don't get is why glock messed with the 10 rounder. should have kept the mag the same and just shortened it and added a block to physically fill the space. my mecgar sig mags have instead of a floorplate, a large block to limit the mag. from what I understand, S&W does the same thing.Comment

I can't believe they still have your gun! You are a very patient man.Still there no word yet. I did call 2 weeks ago and talked to a new rep. I've got this same issue and haven't gotten around to call Glock yet. Never had a problem until I ran some Ranger 147gr and the last round always gets stuck. Not only that, but I figured out that if I push down on the follower with my finger, it gets stuck on the lip of the mag even when no bullets loaded in it. I thought it was just me and even took a video. For now my fix is to count to 9 and then drop the mag. Sounds like a well known ongoing issue, but why in the world is Glock still selling 10 round mags that do this here in CA? I like having 2 G19s with a set of spare parts and 10+ mags, but a FTF jam is not acceptable in a SD/HD handgun."Power always thinks it has a great soul and vast views beyond the comprehension of the weak." -- John AdamsComment

That's the exact same issue I had. I tried the 9mm3 followers and they made the problem worse. I can only imagine the number of G19 owners here in CA who have never shot any JHP's out of their guns and have yet to discover they have this issue. I'll bet there are G19's out there that have been sitting around for years without ever having shot any JHP's. It's just not cool to do this to people who are using your product to protect and save lives. I predict a lawsuit in Glock's future.Comment

Has anyone tried these Glock Mag Blocks in a regular capacity mag to see if they work more reliably that swapping out followers?"Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Show me an old liberal and I'll show you a man without a brain." - Sir Winston Churchill
