When you are shooing and seeing the serations on the back of the slide, the result is you are not going to hit your target.

Does it affect POI? Looks like the rear sight cut may be slightly off. Depending on the dollar amount, I'd say have them fix it. Mis-aligned sights are a no-go from any reputable manufacturer. It's also in the area of the gun that is literally staring you in the eye every time you shoot it...

Fair enough 2A. FWIW, the more I look at it, the more it seems to just be a cosmetic issue -- and like 2A stated, one that shouldn't affect practical use.

To the OP: I sent my Colt Elite IX in to Cylinder and Slide for new sights (F&R), as the original Elliason sight would drift during firing, due to the roll pin working out under recoil. It was definitely a more severe deficiency than what is on your pistol, and I decided it was worth the time and cash to have fixed.
Have you put a level across the top? If it just cosmetic, then it's a matter of personal preference -- and a matter of time spent sending the pistol back for repairs vs. just keeping it and enjoying it.
I'm not one to have a gun that isn't a shooter, but when something that might affect the accuracy is an issue, I'd have it straightened out.
After rolling around on top of my Brown while shooting a carbine class, I've pretty much given up trying to keep any of my guns in showroom condition... That and it give me an excuse to try out new finishes lol.

If you are not OK with it, don't buy it. If every time you go to shoot it and that is bugging you, it will never be the gun of your dreams. Look at other ones and see what you can find. I'm not a rich man, if I spent four grand on a hand gun, I would want it perfect and to my liking in every way.

Geez that whole gun is warped, side are not parallel, the right side hammer siding is wavy. Serrations look very amateurish

As far as I can tell it is only cosmetic. I do not have it on hand to level it. I would plan to use the SH*T out of it. But I am left feeling everytime I see it. UPDATE!

So I just got off the phone with NightHawk and DAMN they are awesome at customer service. They will fix it and their Master Smith will be handling it upon them receiving it. I will "update again" when the work is complete.

I would call them, what's the worst that can happen? At least you will never have the "what if" feeling. I hope they help you out. Good Luck, and report back to give us an update

Maybe I'm blind, but to me it looks even with the left side... they both kind of angle downwards.

I may be way off, but maybe the ejector taking up space makes it look uneven?
