I'd keep the 620. It's a great revolver, wicked-accurate and a joy to shoot. (And yes, I own one and will not sell it in my lifetime.)

Sell the one you shoot the least and keep the one you enjoy shooting the most. This situation has come up with me also. I have only sold 3 guns in the passed 15 years and have regrets about the HKUSP 40 every time I talk to my f***in friend who bought it. He refuses to sell it back to me for what he paid, which was 500.00

Keep the Colt 1911 for sure (hard to replace)
            Try to keep the revolver
Sell the Glock for sure (easily replaceable)

Keep all three. Don't sell guns. Buy them.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Being a 'gun guy' you know guns. But I have seen lot of people who could not care for a revolver. Recently at a LGS a senior couple came in with their S&W snub nose revolver with green bullets, "why did that happen? We oil it every month!" They did not know they had to wipe off the excess.

As a lawman I was at a home and confiscated a nice old S&W revolver that over the years the owner had lost the cylinder latch. On one occasion working the desk a couple brought in a S&W 4 inch revolver with grips for a 2 inch round butt on it. They wanted to turn it in. Another time a S&W 1917 came in with duct tape for grips since somewhere somebody used it as a hammer. Of course we have confiscated a lot of revolvers that had no grips at all on them. Another time we got in a S&W 66 that was rusted up. Stainless steel does not mean it is 'rustproof'.

Based on a financial need, I would keep the Glock and sell the Colt and the Smith. I haven't shot the XSE, but have experience with other 1911s as well as the Glock 22 with the LW 40-9 conversion barrel and the Smith 620.

You'll get the most for the Colt and Smith. 9 and 40 ammo cost less too, so you'll get more from selling the ammo on hand. It will cost less to replenish what you will use up. The Colt uses only 45, which may not always be readily available. The Glock and Smith gives you the option to shoot another caliber if you need or want to. But 38 and 357 are not as common as 9 and 40. They also cost more.

Personally, I'll keep the 620. I just like wheel guns more.

If you need money, keep the Glock 22.

If you have money, keep the Colt 1911.

Criteria: Gun will be primarily a range plinker, possible HD gun. CCW is not a consideration at the moment.

                        1. 1911 (.45 ACP)
                        2. Glock (Fo-Tay)
                        3. S&W (.357)

Plenty of ammo and accessories on hand for each. I like each of them a lot, for different reasons. Trying to decide which to hang onto and which to let go. Financial issues are prompting this question, so answers like "keep all and GET MOARRR!!!" aren't helpful, even though they're amusing.
                        I'd keep the .357 revolver.

It easily satisfies your criteria and since it will shoot .357s or .38 Specials it is more versatile than the Glock or 1911.

If .38 Special ammo costs the least its lowest cost is another reason to stick with the .357 revolver.

                          +1 for the Glock.
Love the 1911s and revolvers but if $$ is the point then the Glock is the keeper, being that the other two are more valuable. Glocks tend to be the first gun purchased for reasons of price, reliability and durability, and may be the last gun owned for the same reasons!

If you don't mind shooting .40S&W, keep the Glock. 40 is almost always available, and a Glock will run well all the time. Plus it's probably the least valuable of the three, so if you're hurting for dollars you'll get more by selling the other two.
