I agree. Glocks are notorious for being picky with ammo

Seems like I have this same issue with this guy on Glockforum. Time to call Glock for a new guide rod.

My Gen 4 G26 sticks when dis asssembling sometimes and I notice that the metal disc on the end of the guide rod and spring is scraping the plastic lower section. it seems to drop down off the ramp of the barrel. This is the same gun that stays open 1/4 inch unless you really let it slingshot...

The issues I've had are Erratic Ejection issues and then feed issues with JHP ammo on the last round due to those follower issues or mag spring.

This is probably completely useless but I've owned a G22, G19, G30, 3 G21's ans 2 G34's and have never had a single malfunction that I wasn't responsible for. I have at least 5-6000 rounds between the G19 and 34. Pretty low but so far 100% reliable.

Same, I have a handful of Glocks. My production division gun, a G34, has nearly 30k rounds through it. My only issue was erratic elections towards the later end which I upgraded and solved with a 30274 ejector and Apex extractor.

I ran 350 rounds of Tulammo during a tactical class through both a Glock 26 and Glock 19 (both gen 3) with no problems. Both glocks already had about a thousand rounds thru them. It's dirty stuff as can be but it will run through Glocks.

I have about ten thousand rounds through each now and never a problem for me at all. I have noticed when I'm teaching people with them, and they are limp wristed, that sometimes I can have a failure to feed. After correcting their stance and how they are holding a firearm, the problem goes away.

By my rough estimation my G22 has about 16k rounds thru it (mostly .40, about 2500 rounds of .357sig)... Ive had 6 failures ever... 4 due to teaching newbies (limp wrist) 2 from a box of Fiocchi 174gr brass cased target ammo.

My G19 on the other hand was a jam-o-matic out of the box... after the extractor swap havent had any problems (though I only have about 2k thru this one)

                    In before limp wristing..

                    Well, crap.

Glocks never fail, the Glock master race tells me so.

My wife's brand new Gen 4 G26 was having FTF and FTE problems during the first 200 rounds. Then Glock sent her a new recoil spring. Presto change-o! All is well.

All mechanical devices can fail. It is inevitable at some point.

My G19 seems to especially enjoy eating Tula steel.

The ONLY failure it's ever had has been on WWB.

I've only had one FTE in 210 rounds with my Gen 3 G17 and it was when a let my mom shoot after she got her HSC and wanted to try my Glock.. gave her some tips and she didn't have a single problem putting any more rounds down the range..

Anything mechanical is prone to fail.. nothing is perfect.
