    slew94547,
thanks for the tip on the Fairfield store still selling. So far, the closest Wal Mart to me...

Fwiw, the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Dixon (right off I-80 @ Hwy 113) still stocks ammo, including WWB value packs.

I went to the Wally World in Huntington Beach last week and the one in Oxnard earlier this week. Both are still selling ammo. Lots of gangstas in Oxnard buying pellet guns

Bought a few boxes of 9mm and 45acp from Milpitas, seems like they still are getting ammo. They also just recently started stocking Remington Express 12ga 00 buck value packs, 15 shells for $6.50. Also they are restocking the higher priced 12ga ammo like the Winchester and Remington.

Just picked up 500 rounds of .45acp in Milpitas for 20.98. The selection wasn't quite like Union City, Where you could get the UMC "Mega Pack" of 250 rds for about 49.00. Saw plenty of other WWB value packs in various loads as well.

Just got back from another Oregon/CA border trip. Picked up 500 rounds each of 9MM and .45 at the local Medford Walmart. All I can say is God Bless Oregon and their sales tax free ways. Did you know Wal Mart sells a Federal 200 round value pack of .223 55GR HP for $50.00. I don't know why I didn't buy one? I'm an idiot.

Personally, I wouldn't mind living up there, it seems nice. I've had my fill of the Bay Area and CA. That's just day dreaming anyway. All my freinds and family are here.

What about having someone else pump your gas? I've thought about moving there but all my friends and family are down here so it would be hard to leave them.

I always wondered why they dont allow the general public to pump their own gas there. I guess they are afraid of people spilling?

The Walmart Supercenter in my area does not carry ammo.

Canyon Sports sells shotshell ammo for a reasonable price. I just picked up a case of Estate shotshells - 20 gauge ounce of 6's for $43.50 a case. I think they also sell Rio's and I think they are under $40 a case for 12 gauge. They have reasonable prices on ammo if you can get it on sale but I recently purchased 20 gauge slugs there and they were a buck each. I can get the same slugs shipped from Outdoor marksmen's mart in OR for about $3.50 a box.. They also sometimes have sales but I'm not sure what the going price of 9mm fmj is since I don't generally buy that ammo.

Seems like most of the walmarts are picked clean!! They gotta go and restock!

I asked one gas attendant when we went to Oregon and he said that it's a safety issue. I got scolded when I tried to pump my own gas oooppss

letting them pump your gas isnt necessarily a bad thing...that way you wont get hurt if this happens
