Really, there's not much difference between a Fulcrum Duty trigger and the factory trigger. Pre and over travel are reduced, but not completely eliminated, so with the exception of a cleaner break, they are very similar.

Ive shot my glock with a fancy custom trigger i put together and the stock trigger ...made no difference in my shooting.

.25 cent job and 3.5 connector with over travel stop, maybe new sights.

I used to be a big advocate for a 3.5 connector and a .25 trigger job until I saw a G19 fire once on a trigger pull and once on the release to reset the trigger. Bending the connector back to its original shape it worked again. Also some have known to break. IMHO a .25 trigger job is all I would do to a Glock. If anything upgrade to metal sights.

I went with a ghost connector 5.0 and polishing up the areas that needed it. and it works great for carry no double fires i love mine i also added the spring kit and titanium rod cost me all of about 30 bucks for everything the connector was a PITA to file install test remove then repeat until you find the sweet spot.

I've never been big on aftermarket triggers on Glocks, until I recently picked up a Glock 19 Gen3 with a lightning strike trigger installed. Factory weight is retained, but the pull and reset length are slightly reduced. Managed to shoot a whole 15 round magazine inside of the 8 ring on a B27 target at 15 yards, something I have never been able to do with a Glock before.

I'm not going to get into any modified vs unmodified pissing matches, since that is all hypothetical. For all of the posts I read online about what-if scenarios I have never seen someone produce a single case where a modification to a firearm was what caused someone to be convicted in a self-defense shooting.

                OP here,
For those OEM nazis out there the Skinner and Guardian are OEM triggers mirror polished with slight trigger bar mods. The Skinner can have up to 5.5 lbs. trigger pull. I get the whole range time and practice deal, I have thousands of dead paper men under my belt with my Sigs. I just want my Glock set up the best way possible before I start sending thousands of precious 10mm rounds down range. As far as the $ goes I just came off a week working 45 hrs. overtime and thought I would spoil me and my little black buddy a bit.

There never has been a case. Nor has there been a case involving reloaded ammo.

I would check with your issueing agency regarding modifications. I know in San Bernardino the deputies strongly advised against any modifications, except sights, that the OEM Glock model does not allready come with, ie, do not put a 3.5lb connector in a G17 because it did not come that way.

Screw the Glock rep that told him that. Any modern centerfire pistol should be able to handle ungodly amounts of dry fire without that happening. I would say something was out of spec either with the slide or the striker.

I had an M&P striker that broke from dry fire and the S&W rep told me something similar. That experience still makes me pause whenever I consider buying an M&P again.

FYI, I've dry fired the crap out of my 1911, Sig Pro, and Glock 19 without any issue. And though you're told not to do it, I've done more than a good dose of dry fire with my Ruger 22/45. Also no issues or breakages.

Not familiar with those. On my Glock 21, I did the .25 cents polishing as shown on youtube. Next, might upgrade the " TRIGGER Spring " to an extra-power competition as sold by either Glockstore or Brownells. From what I was told, those two alone should yield a very discernible difference even without replacing the stock connector.
